In the early 1980's, the Halifax Kennel Club, under the direction of the late Michael McDonald, formed an Obedience Drill Team. Although the team was disbanded for a short time, it has been serving the community consistently since 1987.

 

Code

The Drill Team performs on a regular basis during the spring and/or the fall months at local Extended Care facilities and Hospitals. The Team provides pet visitation sessions after each performance and has also the distinction of being one of the longest running programs of its kind in Nova Scotia.
