I am a retired school teacher owned by two Borzoi. My late husband and I always had dogs, in fact his Beagle had pups two days after we were married. I was so scared I left the house and he had to deliver the pups!!! 
 
During our marriage we had Beagles and Great Danes as pets. Our first Borzoi was acquired in 1990. The breeder wanted her shown so I started showing her, not even really knowing that the ring was square. Somehow, in spite of me Abby became a champion and thus began my interest in shows.
 
Six years ago John passed away as did our last two dogs. After that I received Libby (CH. Lythe Ghost Dance TT  CGN) (photo below) and started showing and getting more involved in dogs. Now I also have Angel (Elite CFC/CKC Ch. Kinobi's BLue Angel TT  CGN  RE  PCD) who keeps me on my toes and hope to have a litter this summer. (photo left)
 
I am currently the  Membership Director of HKC and Maritime Director of Borzoi Canada.
 
In addition to doggie activities I am an avid curler and a member of Acadia Sports Hall of Fame.
