Jackie McGowan St. Croix has been involved in dog training for over 25 years. She specializes in working with dogs with anxiety disorder, panic attacks and/or a highly reactive response to environmental and specific stimuli.

Jackie has an extensive background in working with dogs in a wide variety of activities, which include obedience, agility, rally, flyball, earthdog, media work and live theatre. However, her favorite pastime with her own dogs is canine freestyle and practicing relaxation techniques.

Jackie and her husband Jack are active members of the Halifax Kennel Club – Drill Team,  Atlantic Terrier Association and the Atlantic Canada Earthdogs.

Together Jackie and Jack show and breed Parson Russell Terriers. They love the breed for their lively, free-spirited nature, their feisty attitude and their love of cuddling. They currently share their home with three Parson Russell Terriers -  Nicky, Tally and JamJam, who they keep busy with walks, conformation showing, rally, agility and drill team.

Jackie is also Certified Level I in Animal Reiki and is currently working on certification in Canine Reflexology.
